The company was also named among the top, fastest growing technology companies in North America by Deloitte & Touche and recognized as an Inc. 500 company, recently achieving three-year average annual sales growth of 487.2 percent.
Prior to The Active Network, Alberga spent three years in operations for TicketmasterOnline CitySearch (NASDAQ: TMCS), a leading portal and transaction company. In his three years at TMCS, his initial role as general manager of established markets for CitySearch City Guides was expanded to executive vice president and then, Chief Operating Officer. TMCS career highlights include successfully leading local management teams in 35 markets, while overseeing operating and reporting procedures for each field organization, and participating in raising private and public equity for CitySearch.
Alberga has also held a number of senior management positions with diverse, technology-based companies, such as Linear Technology, a leading analog semiconductor manufacturer, and Silicon Valley Technology, Inc. He brings strong management consulting and brand management expertise from his work with the Boston Consulting Group and Procter & Gamble.
Alberga holds a master of business administration and master of arts from Stanford University. He earned a bachelor of science degree in general engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
Alberga is also a board member of Running USA, a national non-profit trade organization dedicated to improving the status of road racing and long distance running in the United States.
','As President of The Active Network, Inc., Matt currently leads the General Managers of each business unit to set strategic direction and execute on establishing Active as the leader in each of its markets. Landa also oversees the company\'s community, government, golf and commerce operations as well as its full service, integrated marketing and consumer promotions agency, Active Marketing Group. Under Landa\'s leadership, Active Marketing Group was named among the top-ten, fastest growing promotions agencies in the nation by PROMO Magazine.
Formerly President and Chief Executive Officer of Silicon Valley-based CMC Industries, Landa was credited with driving the electronics manufacturer\'s growth from approximately $140 million in sales in 1995 to over $300 million in 1998. After merging with ACT Manufacturing in 1999, he served as President of the new company until March 2000. Prior to CMC, Landa was chief operating officer of Silicon Valley Technology (SVT), a high-volume manufacturer of electronics products.
Additional experience includes serving as an associate for Morgan Stanley\'s Corporate Finance and Mergers and Acquisition departments in New York City, and as a consultant at Monitor Company, a strategic management consulting firm. Landa holds a master\'s in business administration from Stanford University and a bachelor\'s degree from Dartmouth College with concentrations in engineering and economics.
','Jon Belmonte, chief operating officer, oversees the company\'s Active Sports Technologies and Active Giving Solutions businesses, its media properties Active.com and eteamz, as well as directing the content strategy and operations for the company\'s Web sites. Belmonte and his team work with organizations, across both individual, team and league sports and non-profit activities, to deliver customized technology solutions and marketing services to streamline administration, enhance operational efficiency and promote their businesses. Under Belmonte\'s direction, the company now works with more than 13,000 event organizers, 2,500 sports leagues, 700 camps worldwide, and provides fundraising services for over 1,500 local and national non-profit organizations. Belmonte brings a strong background in strategic marketing and management consulting for both consumer and business markets. Previously, he was co-founder of Westminster, Colo.-based LeagueLink, a Web-based provider of league administration tools which later became part of The Active Network. Prior to LeagueLink, Belmonte worked as a strategy consultant for The Boston Consulting Group, where he analyzed marketing, management and finance issues within a variety of industries including Internet and communication-focused businesses. He also headed operations for Kew Management Corp. and has advised several start-up ventures on strategy and financing issues. A graduate of the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University, Belmonte received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania\'s Wharton School. Active in basketball, lacrosse and running, Belmonte lives in La Jolla with his wife Rita and two children Hana and Cal.
','Norman Dowling, executive vice president and chief financial officer joined The Active Network in September 2004, with overall responsibility for the corporate finance, accounting, legal, and human resources functions. Dowling brings more than 20 years experience in finance and administration across multiple industry sectors, including six years with Ernst & Young. Before joining Active, he served as EVP / CFO for Factory 2-U Stores, an off-price specialty retailer. Previously, from November 1999 to March 2004, Dowling was vice president, finance for PETCO Animal Supplies, Inc., a 700+ store nationwide specialty retailer of pet food, supplies, and services. From 1997 to 1999, he served as CFO of CinemaStar Luxury Theaters. Dowling\'s background also includes senior financial management positions at Advanced Marketing Services, Inc. from 1993 to 1997 and Medical Imaging Centers of America, Inc. from 1990 to 1993. A native of Dublin, Ireland, he holds a bachelor of commerce degree from University College Dublin.
','Kourosh Vossoughi, general counsel and senior vice president of business development, is responsible for the company\'s legal affairs, providing legal counsel for the company\'s mergers and acquisitions, private financings, contract negotiations, securities law compliance, intellectual property, employment and litigation matters. Prior to joining The Active Network, Vossoughi practiced corporate/securities law at Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison for two years. Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison was one of California\'s leading technology law firms. From 1996 to 1998, Vossoughi practiced corporate/securities law at Luce, Forward, Hamilton & Scripps, San Diego\'s oldest and largest law firm. Vossoughi graduated second in his class from the University of San Diego, School of Law, and is a member of the California Bar Association. He also holds a bachelor\'s degree, magna cum laude, in neurobiology with a minor in business administration from the University of California at Berkeley.
','Alex Barnetson, senior vice president, oversees sales, marketing, product development and customer support for the company\'s Community and Government Solutions groups, which provide both enterprise and hosted solutions for parks and recreation departments, non-profit associations, school districts and higher education, and local governments. Barnetson brings extensive packaged software manufacturing and operations experience, with a strong focus in strategic sales and marketing for community service organizations. Prior to Active\'s acquisition of the company in October 2004, Barnetson was president and chief operating officer of Vancouver, B.C.-based Class Software Solutions. Class, a provider of enterprise-based program, facility and revenue management tools, serves over 700 community agencies in the U.S., Canada, Australia and New Zealand, generating over $12M in revenue and employing 140. Since 1987, Barnetson held various positions with Class, including implementation, training, support, consulting, sales and marketing management. Previously, Barnetson worked with community recreation organizations as a program coordinator and served as a director for the Canadian Parks & Recreation Association and Simon Fraser University Alumni Association. Barnetson is a graduate of Simon Fraser University.

As senior vice president and managing director of the firm, Magnuson responsible for all Western operations, client services, account teams and business development. While at Millsport, he was credited with driving very steady growth during the tough economic climate of 2001 and 2002. Additional career highlights include heading business development efforts as senior vice president for Embark.com, a leading provider of Internet infrastructure solutions to learning institutions. At Embark.com, he identified and secured strategic alliances with brands looking to reach Embark.com\'s powerful GenY audience. Magnuson was also executive director of Pac-10 Properties, a joint venture he helped create between Fox Sports and the Pac-10 collegiate conference. Leveraging the venture\'s assets, he launched integrated marketing and advertising programs for Fortune 500 companies while successfully driving the strategic direction and growth of this business. ','John Sanders, vice president of information technology, oversees the company\'s hosting operations. Sanders previously served as chief technology officer of eteamz (www.eteamz.com), before eteamz\'s merger with The Active Network in January 2001. From 1997 to 1999, he was employed as a technology consultant to a variety of businesses. From 1994 to February 1997, Sanders served as senior vice president-MIS for Spelling Entertainment Group, Inc., an entertainment industry firm which produced television movies/series, films and video entertainment. From 1986 to 1994, he served as senior vice president-MIS for MGM/UA Communications Co., also an entertainment industry firm, which produced television movies/series, films and video entertainment. Previous to this, Sanders served as a senior manager in the consulting practice of Arthur Andersen & Co., specializing in the entertainment, casino gaming, lodging, transportation and financial services industries. He holds a bachelor\'s degree in public service from the University of California, Los Angeles and a master\'s in business administration from the Anderson School, University of California, Los Angeles.
','Josh Schlesser, vice president of technology, oversees the development and the daily operations of the company\'s hosted services and transaction processing platform. Previously, he directed online operations at JGSullivan Interactive, a marketing and software development firm. Joining JGSullivan in 1998 - a time when the industry was just beginning to look at the potential of the Internet and Web applications - Schlesser developed one of the industry\'s first online engines to provide content management and back-end data management tools for appliance dealers to easily build Web sites and offer a Web presence to their customer base. Other career highlights include a position as research physicist at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory, operators of the world\'s highest-energy particle accelerator. Schlesser holds a bachelor of science degree in physics from the University of Mississippi.
','Steve Green joined Canaan Partners in November 1991 as a General Partner, bringing a broad background in financing companies involved in manufacturing, retailing, radio, television, and cable broadcasting, and financial services. Green began his career with GE in 1973 and held a variety of financial positions. From 1983 to 1991 he was with GE Venture Capital and GE Capital\'s Corporate Finance Group, providing debt and equity financing for start-up companies and leveraged buyouts. Green serves as a director of Dean Foods Company and holds a bachelor\'s degree from Amherst College.
','Elliot Katzman, a veteran of the technology industry and venture community, joined The Active Network\'s board of directors following the company\'s merger with Myteam.com in December 2001. Katzman was a founder and chief executive officer of Myteam.com, prior to its merger with The Active Network. Prior to founding Myteam.com, Katzman played key executive management roles in several successful start-ups including SolidWorks, Atria Software and Epoch Systems. In addition, he was part of Prime Computer during its significant growth phase in the mid-80s. Each of Katzman\'s last three companies achieved substantial growth. Katzman holds bachelor of science and bachelor of arts degrees from Salem State College.

Eric Korman is Executive Vice President of Ticketmaster, the world\'s leading ticketing company. In this position, Mr. Korman oversees all aspects of Ticketmaster\'s corporate and business development, as well as the company\'s TicketWeb and ReserveAmerica ticketing and campground management businesses.
Prior to joining Ticketmaster, Mr. Korman served as Senior Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions from January 2005 to April 2006 for IAC/InterActiveCorp, Ticketmaster\'s parent organization. He joined IAC in September 2001 as Vice President of Business Development and Strategy for Ecommerce Services (ECS), a former subsidiary of IAC; and subsequently, he was promoted to Vice President of Strategic Planning for IAC in February 2002, and was appointed Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions in September 2003.
Before taking on his roles with IAC, Mr. Korman served in the Customer Marketing group of Coca-Cola USA from 1993 to 1995 before joining the Corporate Business Development group of The Coca-Cola Company, where he remained until 1997, managing the mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures of nonalcoholic beverage companies primarily located in Europe and South America. In January 2000, Mr. Korman joined Digital Convergence Corporation as Vice President, assisting the start-up with various activities such as raising private equity and signing distribution partners. Mr. Korman left Digital Convergence later that year to become a principal in epartners, a $650 million venture fund backed by SOFTBANK and News Corporation.
Eric Korman sits on the Board of Directors of the Active Network Inc., BET.com, and Points International LTD (TSX: PTS). He is an honors graduate from Emory University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and an MBA from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
','Lee Rosenberg, a founding Principal of the General Partner of Kettle Partners, focuses on broadband converged content, entertainment and media driven transactions. Rosenberg currently serves on the board of directors of portfolio companies Sportvision and Sure Payroll. From 1986, he was President of Rosenberg Capital, Inc. and General Partner of Rosy Partnership, entities involved in a broad spectrum of venture capital relationships and real estate investments. Portfolio companies and relationships have included: Musicnow, Egreetings Network, GRP Records, Sylvan Learning Systems (NASDAQ:SLVN) and JAM Productions. Prior to 1986, Rosenberg served as a Senior Vice President for Heitman Advisory, an institutional real estate investment advisor. Rosenberg is 44 years old, married and has a daughter. He earned a bachelor\'s degree in business administration with Distinction from the University of Michigan in 1978 and is a Certified Public Accountant.

With a career in the sports industry spanning more than 30 years, John Korff is owner of Korff Enterprises, a sports and special events marketing company based in New York City and Honolulu. In addition to serving as a Board Member of The Active Network, Korff is Director at Large on the USTA Board of Directors.
Other appointed positions include Board Liaison to the Community Tennis Association Council and serving on the board\'s Budget Committee. Previously, he served on the Davis Cup Committee for six years. Korff was also a member of the WTA Tour Board and a business advisor to the WTA Tour Players Association.
Korff founded and then organized the highly innovative A&P Tennis Classic in Mahwah, New Jersey, for twenty-five years. He also owns and operates the New York City Triathlon and produces on-course entertainment for the New York City Marathon. Korff has successfully produced national and world championships in triathlon, archery, indoor track and field, fencing, weightlifting, and other Olympic sports. His company also organizes hot air balloon festivals, concerts and PGA golf tournaments.
In 2004, Korff organized the U.S. Olympic Trials for Triathlon in Honolulu, Hawaii. He currently runs the highly successful Honolulu triathlon and the World Triathlon Championships, both in Hawaii.
